For those who want to get an entry-level smartphone, consider the new Honor 7S. It’s the latest addition to the Honor family and it has some of the latest hardware trends in the market as well.
First off, let’s take a look at the list of specs.
- 5.45-inch 18:9 FullView display with 1440×720 resolution
- Mediatek MT6739 chipset
- Quad-core (4×1.5GHz Cortex-A53)
- PowerVR GE8100 GPU
- 2GB RAM
- 16MP storage
- 13MP rear-facing camera with PDAF
- 5MP selfie camera
- 3,020mAh battery
The Honor 7S is more than just its specs. Even for its RM379 price tag, it has some features like “swipe with 3 fingers to take screenshot”.
One interesting feature is something called the Super Receiver Mode. This mode is triggered by the volume + key at the time of the call when you continuously press on the volume + key after exceeding the normal volume range. With a much higher than usual volume, it’s a boon to use in noisy environments or for those who have trouble hearing – like the elderly.
