Who’s excited for the new Huawei P10 and Huawei P10+? I know I am, since there was quite a strong hype train going on for the past few weeks. Both the Huawei P10 and Huawei P10+ are disrupting the market like never before, and that is thanks to its multiple new innovations in one smartphone.

Huawei P10 & P10+

Let’s start off with the most obvious one. Huawei partnered with Pantone Color Institute to bring you devices with the latest on-trend colors, and the Huawei P10 and Huawei P10+ is complemented by something Huawei calls te Hyper Diamond-Cut finish. And yes – the Huawei P10 and Huawei P10+ comes in a total of 8 different colors.

Huawei P10

The available colors are Ceramic White, Dazzling Blue, Dazzling Gold, Prestige Gold, Graphite Black, Mystic Silver, Rose Gold, and Greenery. I just like the green color phone a lot.

Huawei has not forgotten about Leica too – but this time, they’ve upgraded and tweaked the camera system even further. Firstly, the selfie camera has been upgraded to a Leica lens too. 8MP and an aperture of f/1.9 to be precise.

As for the rear-facing camera, Huawei introduces the Leica Dual rear-camera 2.0, a 20MP monochrome sensor and another 12MP RGB sensor for all the colors, and has OIS too. However, there are some differences when it comes to the lenses used, as the Huawei P10 features SUMMARIT-H f/2.2 lens, and the and Huawei P10+ features a SUMMILUX-H f/1.8 lens.

There’s also 3D face mapping for perfect selfies too, if that’s your thing.

The Huawei P10 will be priced at €649, whereas the Huawei P10+ (64GB storage + 4GB RAM) will be at €699, and the Huawei P10+ (128GB storage + 6GB RAM) will be at €799.

By the way, Malaysians should be happy to know that the Huawei P10 and P10+ is announcing on the 8th of March 2017.

Huawei Watch 2

Based on the original Huawei Watch design, the Huawei Watch 2 takes on a completely new set of hardware and capabilities. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, the Huawei Watch 2G comes two versions – one of them is 4G-supported. This allows users to send messages or make calls independent of the phone that it’s paired to. Neat.

The 4G-supported version of the Huawei Watch 2 even lets you take calls or respond or text messages while using apps like Uber, Foursquare, and surprisingly, Telegram. There are even VoLTE support and dual-mic noise canceling for clear phone calls too.
