Budget device powerhouse JOI has revealed the new JOI Classmate 30 notebook that is packed with great accessibility and value.

The laptop is designed with ruggedness and longevity in mind while being budget-friendly with 60cm drop resistance alongside basic water and dust resistance. However, by taking a look at the specification of the device then you’ll know that this isn’t really suitable for college use and only reached the bare minimum for secondary studies. The branding of the laptop as a “learning device” also signifies its target audience towards young students who are currently adapting to online education as well.

To supplement the portability of the device, each purchase will be honored with a complimentary laptop bag and an offer of Shield Care 1-year extended warranty at RM50 that is optional.

At just RM1,999 it is actually pretty compelling and affordable for most families out there that are looking to let their kids study at home and gain access to more information easily. And yes, it might be easier to pull them away from their smartphones too.
