The summer season is just right around the corner (Or is already here for some of you), and if you’re looking for portable storage devices to store your photos and videos during this period, Kingston has you covered with their reliable products.
First up, the XS2000 External SSD packs high performance of up to 2000MB/s transfer speed via USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 protocol, and the drive can be purchased with up to 2TB of storage. The big capacity and fast file-moving capabilities make it suitable for users with large photo libraries, travel vlogs, and high-resolution video projects. The device also features an IP55 rating and a removable rubber sleeve for added durability during travel.
If the XS2000 is overqualified for your needs, then dropping the performance down a notch is the XS1000 for a friendlier price. Aside from transfer speed and capacity difference, every other aspect is more or less the same as the XS2000 so do consider this.
Meanwhile, the Dual Portable SSD is the “be all, do all” model, thanks to the USB-A and USB-C connectors baked directly into it so no more conversion dongles. The SSD delivers read speeds of up to 1,050MB/s and write speeds of up to 950MB/s, while its compact metal construction is intended to support portability.
Craving memory cards? Then the Canvas Go! Plus SD cards are built to serve 4K video recordings, as the UHS-I U3 and Video Speed Class V30 ratings pretty much guarantees its performance. Capacity options range from 64GB to 1TB, providing flexibility for users capturing large volumes of content during extended trips.
