While everyone is giving their best to churn out next-generation 5G compatible smartphones across all price points, Lenovo is going all out for their next product. It would be hard considering the 5G module and the idea of futureproofing is to spend big bucks now rather than a small fortune every now and then.
And with the theme of the competition being refresh rate for this year, it could come in at a disadvantage if it doesn’t come packing a 120Hz display which is generally good for everyday use aside from gaming. Software support would be a great deal as well, given that Lenovo has ventured into VR with their Windows Mixed Reality headset and VR content picking up pace in recent years, it would be interesting to see how the chipset performs against the older Snapdragon 835 used by Oculus Quest.
Worse comes to worst, it could just be a standard flagship device with all the “gamer” and “RGB” nonsense slapped together with the launcher. I really do wish that it doesn’t come to this end though.
