Webcams are pretty essential these days. We can hook up a better camera onto our stream, but it requires quite a lot of gear. A camera with HDMI output, a capture card, and probably a secondary PC purely for encoding. That’s really expensive in my opinion, but what if there’s an alternative – a simple plug and play solution for those who want to start game streaming? Enter the Logitech C922 Pro.
The Logitech C922 Pro is a webcam that is designed specifically for Twitch/YouTube gamers specifically – because of the specs. It’s a 720p webcam that captures at 60FPS, or 1080p at 30FPS. It’s perfect for game streamers since the player’s face is gonna be placed at a tiny corner anyway.
There are even two stands included to make the Logitech C922 Pro point to your face at a desirable angle. Firstly, you can opt for a tabletop mini-tripod. Secondly, you can use he traditional hook design to latch it on the top of the monitor. Other than that, the webcam comes with a 3-month XSplit recording for streaming premium license.
The price of that Logitech C922 Pro itself though is a completely different story. It’s priced at RM449. Not too much compared to the epic expensive setup we described earlier too.
