It’s been quite some time since I last heard about a new keyboard by Logitech. With the recent announcement of the Logitech G413, not only does it places itself as Logitech’s flagship keyboard, but I think it’s the most premium keyboard out there.

Now, the Logitech G413 is using Logitech’s exclusive Romer-G switches – which we’ve taken a look here on the Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum and also the Logitech G310 Atlas Dawn. My experience with Romer-G has been pretty pleasant – other than the keycaps on the Atlas Dawn. Since they’ve changed back the conventional keycaps on the G810, I actually like Romer-G switches. Anyway, I digress.

The Logitech G413 is simply dubbed as “Carbon”, and in my opinion, it’s a rather suitable name for them – because it’s a very stealthy-looking keyboard.

Surprisingly this time, Logitech did not include any sort of dedicated multimedia keys like all of their previous keyboards. This time, all of the multimedia keys are handle through the function modifier key. This really keeps the whole keyboard’s footprint to a minimum.

With brushed anodized aircraft-grade aluminium (5052 aluminium-magnesium alloy) as its case, I don’t really expect it to be that heavy like the Ducky Year Of The Horse. One thing I do appreciate is Logitech giving priority to functionality, as the Logitech G413 has a USB passthrough port. Also, no distracting RGB lights and keep the price low!

Speaking of price – the Logitech G413 is priced at RM 429 – and it’s available sometime soon.
