Alright – this might be the best Valentine’s Day gift for anyone – ever. No matter if you’re a guy or a gal, a shiny mechanical keyboard is what everyone wants. Cooler Master thought – let’s take it up a few notches and go full bling – that’s where the MasterKeys Pro L RGB Crystal comes in.
Yes, the name is a mouthful. I’ve actually reviewed the non-crystal version too, which you can check it out right here. In its core, it’s still the same as its non-Crystal brethren. So what makes the Crystal version so special?
Cooler Master thought it’ll be cool that they can change things up by swapping the black opaque case and keycaps for a frosted transparent case and keycaps for maximum RGB brilliance. Thus, creating the MasterKeys Pro L RGB Crystal.
I’m not a fan of blings on my setup, but I’m surprised by how beautiful it looks!
Firstly, you’ll get both form and function – so there’s no argument from me there. Maximum bling with authentic Cherry MX switches too, which you can choose to have either Brown or Blue switches. Secondly, it’s a limited edition keyboard. You can never get anything as special this.
