The new Mi 11 Lite offers a bunch of the latest hardware that is found on high-end smartphones, but at an extremely low price. The Mi 11 Lite is also unbelievably lightweight, which makes this phone rather unique on its own.
Despite have the “Lite” moniker in its name, the Mi 11 Lite is still a rather powerful phone with an amazing screen. It comes with a 6.55-inch AMOLED DotDisplay and supports 10-bit color too, which results in over 1.07 billion colors. This results in a much finer separation between colors and also reduces banding – which is really apparent while viewing things like color gradients.
Just like the Mi 11, even the Mi 11 Lite has DCI-P3 color space setting which has much more vivid colors and is actually the color space that is best used to watch movies.
To pair complement the Mi 11 Lite’s amazing screen, it also has stereo speakers and certified for Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless too. Since we have both of these things together, we can fully immerse ourselves in the movie with both a good screen and good audio.
Video-watching aside, the Mi 11 Lite also comes with a 90Hz refresh rate screen and it has a 240Hz touch sampling rate to further elevate the gaming experience. And yes, you can play games on the Mi 11 Lite as well.
Equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G, the Mi 11 Lite can play quite a lot of games. Since it is using a 7-series chip from Qualcomm, the heat coming out of the chip is quite low and you can definitely play games for hours and it will still feel fine.
If you’re wondering how’s the gaming performance of the Mi 11 Lite, here is our test.
And when the Mi 11 Lite is out of battery, its 4,250mAh battery can be topped up with the included 33W charger rather quickly as well – from 15% to 100% in just about an hour’s time.
And let’s not forget about the cameras. The Mi 11 Lite can take some amazing pictures too and surprise – the Mi 11 Lite also comes with the same fantastic macro camera as found on the Mi 11! Take a look at the pictures taken by the Mi 11 Lite.
And yet, the entire Mi 11 Lite is packed in an extremely thin and insanely lightweight chassis – measuring at 1.88mm and weighing in at only a mere 157 grams. Yet it is also available in a total of 3 different colors – Boba Black, Bubblegum Blue, and Peach Pink colors. My favorite here has got to be Bubblegum Blue, though.
At the price of RM1,199 for the Mi 11 Lite, it comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage – and I have to say, it’s a good deal.
