ASUS OLED family

I’m not surprised that many people are still looking for tablets and laptops for online classes, meetings, and everything in between. Even we got a few comments and messages asking what’s the recommended tablet to buy right now.

Enter – the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite. We got this a few days ago and today, let’s take a brief look at what we’re getting for only RM699. Yes, that’s the official price of the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite.

What we’re getting

Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite

The box of the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is surprisingly small, honestly. It’s only slightly bigger than the tablet itself, and the box overall is relatively thin too.

Opening up everything reveals the tablet itself, a few documentations including a quick start guide and warranty information, a charger, and also a cable for charging. Nothing crazy here.

The tablet itself

First off, I have to say that even though it has an 8.7-inch IPS LCD screen, it’s relatively compact overall. I can hold the tablet with just one hand – granted, I do have pretty big hands – but being able to hold this big device with one hand is a blessing.

The tablet also has a dual-speaker setup just like its more premium brethren which means it should provide a pretty good experience overall.

It is also packed with a 5,100mAh battery and coupled with the MediaTek Helio P22T chipset and 4GB RAM with 64GB of storage, this Samsung Galaxy A7 Lite is decent enough for day-to-day use.

We also have suggested this tablet to a few parents who are looking for something affordable for their kids to attend online classes and so far, it seems like this tablet is doing a good job at meeting those requirements.
