MSI used COMPUTEX 2026 to split its laptop strategy between high-end refreshes and visually distinctive limited editions, with MSI clearly leaning into both performance branding and collector appeal at the same time.

The standout announcement is the Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Draco Epic, a 40th anniversary special edition that pushes the design language into premium territory. The laptop’s chassis is themed around the Draco constellation, created using precision metal etching and anodization that produces layered textures and shifting light reflections depending on viewing angle.

Under the hood, it is built for no-compromise performance, pairing an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU. It also features an 18-inch 4K 240Hz Mini LED display, a mechanical per-key RGB keyboard, a haptic RGB touchpad, and a vapor chamber cooling system to keep sustained performance in check. MSI is bundling the limited edition with commemorative extras including a mouse pad and collectible coin, with Malaysia availability set for July.

On the portable gaming side, MSI is expanding its handheld ambitions with the Claw 8 EX AI+, joining the Intel Arc G3 ecosystem and positioning itself around XeSS 3 MFG for upscaling and frame generation. The device uses an 8-inch 120Hz VRR display and focuses heavily on ergonomics, introducing redesigned grips, Hall-effect triggers and thumbsticks, improved bumpers, and a more responsive D-pad.

MSI is also emphasizing immersion through upgraded linear motors for more detailed haptics, while software features like Xbox Mode aim to streamline game launching and quick resume behavior. The unit ships in a Void Purple finish and is also scheduled for a July launch in Malaysia.

MSI’s Artisan Collection also gets a more cultural angle with the Prestige 14 Flip AI+ Vincent van Gogh Edition, drawing inspiration from The Starry Night and Starry Night Over the Rhône. This convertible laptop runs on the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 platform and is expected to arrive in Q3, targeting users who want creative-focused hardware wrapped in a more expressive design identity.

Rounding things out, the Katana, Venture, and Crosshair families are seeing more iterative updates rather than full reinventions, with MSI focusing on refined industrial design cues, improved thermal performance, and hardware refreshes aimed at squeezing out better efficiency and gaming performance across selected models.
