If you can’t get the trend, then let me explain it to you. Each year when Apple releases a new version of their Mac OS X, a new version of iTunes becomes available to everyone – including Windows users.
I’m a big fan of iTunes for about 6 years or so, because at that time, I found out that managing album art is very well done. Soon after that, I started using an Android phone and then doubleTwist came out – giving Android users the ability to sync iTunes with the phone. Since then, I’m stuck with it.
Then comes OS X Yosemite – the latest version of Mac OS X. It destroyed the famous blue-coloured logo for iTunes and replaced it with this red coloured one.
Surely it looks fresh, and even the user interface got a little overhaul and it yet again offers another refreshing look, which I personally find it welcoming.
New looks will definitely bring out some of the learning curve – in this case, a changing curve (pun intended). Everything looks a little bit more streamlined, but I really hope that the beautiful Cover Flow will make a comeback.
