Of course, Elop didn’t come come to Malaysia to launch the Nokia Lumia 1020 – he’ll be cursed first for selling Nokia’s mobile division of Microsoft. This phone was leaked countless times previously and was officially launched in the United States a while back.

Having said that, obviously the phone’s selling point is as the image above, the 41MP PureView camera. This module was featured back in the Nokia 808 PureView, but has been improved much more for the Lumia 1020.

Nokia Malaysia just launched the Nokia Lumia 1020 and they’re making pre-orders available via StoreKini starting from the 19th of September, which includes freebies!

Yes, RM 2,499.

Of course as Uncle Ben said, phone with great camera comes great price! Excellent picture quality is the real deal here of course, where clarity meets super high amount of pixels. Just make sure you wipe away your face if you don’t want to have droplets of sweat being seen when zoomed!

Maybe it is worth paying RM 2,499 for the amazing camera alone.

  1. The Nokia Lumia 1020 is an excellent phone in terms of features and functionality. However, the price seems to be a bit too high at the moment. I’ll wait for a while to see if the price drops down a bit before buying it.
