Nokia just announced the Lumia 1020 not long ago, and this beast has a 41MP camera. 41MP!!! This phone is supposed to be the 808 PureView successor, but jumped ship to Windows Phone since Symbian is no longer in use by Nokia.
The pictures are actually dazzling – in terms of colours, details, lighting and also focus. A perfect all-rounder camera phone that even wins over some entry-level DSLRs with stock lens, I shall say. Check out some out some of the amazing pictures. The Lumia 1020, like the 808 PureView, has a PureView sensor, optical image stabilisation and all the bells and whistles that made the PureView camera so great.
That picture sure is humongous! This picture is at 38MP full crop, featuring 7728×4354 pixels in 16:9 aspect ratio!! Check them out!
Be careful, each of the pictures are about 7~13MB each!
