At the start of this week, OPPO Malaysia launched the OPPO A96 – the latest member in the A-series. Although the A series is always about bringing out the best value for each buck paid in the mid-range market, as the latest guy in the family, the OPPO A96 has a rather unique mission this time compared to past offerings. Let’s find out what is it all about.
Large Memory Configuration with Extras for Emergencies
The digital lifestyle is a hectic one. With the barrage of apps and files that need to be run and saved within our smartphone, one can run out of the available space for storing data both short-term and long-term very quickly.
But the OPPO A96 can solve that problem without breaking the bank as it comes with 8GB of physical RAM and if that’s not enough, the RAM Expansion feature can provide up to an extra 5GB for a short time contributed by the 256GB internal storage. Thanks to the smart algorithm ending unnecessary background processes and compressing infrequently used apps, the OPPO A96 is capable of juggling between giving the system extra RAM and freeing up internal storage seamlessly.
Reliable Fast Charge
The fast-charging technology is already part of our fast-paced life as it let us juice up our devices when we needed them the most. With the 33W SUPERVOOC Fast Charge Technology found within the OPPO A96, it only needs 26 minutes to get to 50% and 71 minutes to full. But if you really need some urgent power, a 5-minute can get you by 3 hours and 38 minutes of phone call, 58 minutes of WhatsApp video call, or more than 1 and half hours of Youtube bingeing!
All-Day Battery Life
Speaking of battery charging, the battery capacity given to the OPPO A96 is also a big one at 5,000mAh which can definitely get you through a single day of constant usage or even two if you’re a casual user instead. To complement the fast charging tech, the battery has multiple levels of safety protection mechanism including level-2 overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, and short circuit protection in addition to level-V0 fire protection thanks to the fire-resistant ink.
Cutting-Edge Back Finish
Known for delivering some of the most exquisite finishing in the smartphone industry, OPPO is once again transitioning the Reno Glow inspired OPPO Glow Design to the next level with the first realization achieved via the OPPO A96 that results in a device that is eye-catching and dazzling for the eyes and smooth for the hands with anti-fingerprint, scratch, and dirt resistance built-in to keep the phone as pristine as possible in the long term. Not only is it good-looking, but it is also built to last with pressure, temperature, water, dust, and plug-in tests all performed to make sure it can endure even the most extreme use cases.
On top of that, since the device is technically launched within the Ramadhan month and with Raya coming in soon, any purchase of the OPPO A96 from April 23 until May 15 will be eligible for extra rewards starting from RM498 and up to RM742.
Not only that, OPPO will be having a First Sale roadshow and Double Your Raya Joy Mobile Truck Roving across Peninsular Malaysia. The public is invited to join with exciting rewards like receiving an Enco Air2 as a complimentary gift, a lucky draw, photo-taking, Giant Congkak, Ketupak décor making, and many others.
