OPPO Malaysia revealed the brand new OPPO Band 2 smart band just yesterday night and they aim to bring more to the table and market with this second-generation device.
OPPO honors the highlight of the Band 2 is the 1.57-inch AMOLED display with 302 PPI of pixel density and which means really clear visuals and text. Offered in a brand new two-color strap design (Excluding the black one of course), the emphasis on appeal is improved alongside a wide variety of watch faces. At just 33g, your wrist will not feel it even when it’s tightly strapped.
It also comes with a high-precision 6-axis motion sensor that will detect your physical activities as accurately as possible while the usual heart rate and blood oxygen detectors are the bread and butter.
Good news to the tennis players, the new algorithm can now recognize various tennis strokes and record 5 types of data including strokes, racket swings, activity duration, heart rate, and calories burned. On the other hand for the usual active person, things like run tracking have more functionalities now while 100 workout modes and 4 auto-detect modes are available from the get-go.
Finally, the OSleep sleep tracking checks all the boxes for sleep monitoring plus a quirky “Time to Sleep” kind of function that will kick in once the scheduled time frame is reached.
Price and Availability
The OPPO Band 2 is now currently available for purchase at the price of RM249 on Lazada and Shopee.
