OPPO has been creating some great smartphones as of recent times – the R17 Pro is beautiful and has the fastest charging ever for a consumer smartphone – and OPPO is very focused on smartphone photography too. The new OPPO F11 Pro is the embodiment of what OPPO’s core beliefs are, but with mid-range specs.
Let’s first talk about the specs. The OPPO F11 Pro comes equipped with a MediaTek Helio P70 chipset that has a Mali-G72 MP3 GPU, up to 6GB RAM, and also up to 128GB of internal storage. All of these are powered by a 4,000mAh battery.
Looking at the phone itself, it has a 6.54-inch display with 2340×1080 pixels in resolution, yet it does not have a notch. That is because OPPO employed the motorized pop-up selfie camera technology. OPPO is also touting that the motor can work for a total of 100 times usage a day for 6 years.
While on the subject of cameras, the OPPO F11 Pro comes with a 16MP f/2.0 selfie camera thati s motorized, and a total of 2 cameras at the back – one 48MP f/1.79 aperture and another 5MP depth sensor. With that many pixels, it is up to OPPO’s software engineers to get creative and explore the possibilities of what can be done.
The OPPO F11 Pro also comes bundled with their proprietary VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 technology, which is charges the phone at 5V 4A. This is relatively fast compared to other fast charging technologies, especially given that Qualcomm’s QuickCharge 3.0 is only at 9V 2A. However, it means that the OPPO F11 Pro will be using a proprietary micro USB cable.
The OPPO F11 Pro also has a 3.5mm audio jack and has earphones included in the box too.
As for the price, the OPPO F11 Pro is available at RM1,399. It will only be aviaalble at 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version, and pre-orders start from 19th March until 29th March 2019.
