Ever since smartphones gained the ability to fit multiple lenses into their body to provide a better photography experience, brands have never stopped innovating in this segment, and OPPO is one of, if not the fastest, forefront leaders in reshaping that aspect through the latest Find X9 Ultra.
Not only with cutting-edge engineering, but their partnership with Hasselblad is also the key to providing a unique experience that turns an ordinary moment into something that is intentionally crafted to look the way that you wanted it to be.
And part of that comes down to the hardware, as the Find X9 Ultra is the next-generation Hasselblad Master Camera System hosting a full penta-camera setup that’s designed to simulate having multiple lenses with you at all times. They even describe it as carrying eight Hasselblad lenses in your pocket, which gives you an idea of how flexible the shooting experience is supposed to be.
Shot with 200MP
The main camera alone is a 200MP ultra-sensing sensor, and it’s paired with a high-resolution mode that’s all about capturing fine details.
Shot with 3X and 6X Zoom
Then the 3x telephoto is a 200MP unit that doubles as a telemacro lens, so you can go from zoom shots to detailed close-ups without needing to switch gear.
But the standout is easily the 50MP 10× optical zoom telephoto – by far the clearest super zoom in the industry, and it doesn’t just stop at 10×. You can push it further to 20× with cropping while still keeping that near optical-level clarity, and this one right here is highly practical for both casual users and creators alike.
Shot with 50MP Ultra-Wide
On top of that, there’s a 50MP ultra-wide camera that brings in significantly more light than before, so your shots look brighter and more detailed, especially in tougher lighting conditions.
Shot with Hasselblad Master Mode; Various profiles
And then there’s Hasselblad Master Mode, which is designed to give you that natural look – balanced highlights, deeper shadows, and colors that actually resemble what your eyes see instead of something overly processed. If you’re into experimenting, there are also nine film simulations to play around with, so you can easily switch between different visual styles without editing from scratch.
Shot with Portrait Mode; 3X, 6X, 10X Zoom
And of course, OPPO’s comfort spot is always portrait shots, with the Find X9 Ultra utilizing a dedicated system to keep skin tones looking accurate regardless of lighting, and they are pretty confident calling it one of the clearest portrait experiences out there.
Then when it comes to video, raw power is packed – You’re getting support for 4K at 60FPS and 120FPS, plus 8K at 30FPS, which already puts it in serious creator territory. But that’s not all, because creators care more about the integration of O-Log2 with ACES, offering higher flexibility in post production, such as better shadow detail, less image smearing, and more room for color grading. Pair that with RockSteady stabilization, high quality and smooth footage is all you get – no hassle.
Outside of the camera, the rest of the phone is built to keep up with that creative workflow. There’s a large 6.82-inch QHD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate, so everything feels fluid and clear. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which should handle heavy workloads without much issue, and there’s a massive 7050mAh battery to back it up, along with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. You’re also getting full IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, so durability is clearly part of the package too.
Then there’s the software side, which is where OPPO is quietly layering in AI features. Running on ColorOS 16, the focus is on smoothness and subtle assistance rather than anything overly flashy.
Features like AI Mind Space and O+ Connect are meant to make cross-device workflows easier, while newer additions like AI Bill Manager and AI Menu Translation add practical, everyday usefulness. It’s less about gimmicks and more about small things that save you time.
Even the design ties back to the camera focus through the use of vegan leather finish with a horizontally aligned OPPO and Hasselblad branding, which gives it that camera-inspired look without being too over the top.
At the end of the day, the way OPPO is framing the Find X9 Ultra is pretty straightforward – it’s not just about having a powerful phone, it’s about having something that keeps up with how you capture and create. Whether you’re shooting photos, recording videos, or just experimenting with different styles, the goal is to make everything feel effortless while still delivering results that actually stand out.
