OPPO really wants you to take great pictures – with their smartphone and that’s why they organized this photography contest and workshop. It will definitely help to sharpen your photography skills, so that you can take great pictures using your smartphone.
Let’s talk about the OPPO Malaysia Photography Contest first. It starts from 5th April at 12pm until 21st April at 3pm.
As far as I can see right now, there are no specific themes of what pictures that they’re looking for. OPPO just mentions that they want you to send them your masterpiece to them, and they’ll notify the winner on 22nd April 2017.
The OPPO Malaysia Photography Contest is, of course, exclusive only for pictures taken with an OPPO smartphone. Which means you have to already own an OPPO smartphone – or buy one and take pictures and submit it before the deadline.
As for the photography workshop, it will be led by known photographers – Kim Teoh, Asmady and Kedaz. There will be three sessions of photography workshop at different stations, which are Johor Bahru Station – Cafe de Flore (8th April 2017), Penang Station – 163-D- 6-20, OPPO Concept Store, Gurney Paragon Mall (15th April 2017) and Kuala Lumpur Station – (location to be confirmed, kindly refer to OPPO Official Facebook Page) (29th April 2017).
Since it is again an OPPO-hosted event, there will be a hands-on experience with the OPPO R9s (that we reviewed here) and R9s Plus.
