Through the weeks of teasers, OPPO has all but confirmed that the OPPO R15 Pro will be arriving to the Malaysian market. The big question is – when can we get it and what’s the price? Today, we have the answer for one of the question. We still have no idea about the price, by the way.
The R15 Pro will launch on 24th May 2018 and the pre-order activity is confirmed to commence from 25th May 2018 till 31st May 2018. During this period, customers may head to pre-order the all-new R15 Pro from any nearest OPPO concept store, Celcom telco store, online OPPO store or OPPO e-commerce’s partners, such as Lazada, Shopee and 11street. The device is available for collection on its first official sales day on 1st June 2018.
For those who went to OPPO’s KLCC Flagship Store, customers can collect and purchase the R15 Pro at an earlier date on 29th May 2018.
Customers who pre-ordered the R15 Pro will be eligible for redemption to the limited free gift. For offline pre-order customers, free gifts are only redeemable during its first sale day on 1st June 2018. Meanwhile, for KLCC Flagship Store, limited gifts will only be given to the first 100 consumers who completed the purchase transaction at KLCC Flagship store during pre-order period.
On KLCC Flagship Store first sale event, there will be a series of activities which are:-
- Having customer’s selfie on OPPO R15 Pro, printed out and framed as a token of memory;
- Stand a chance to win home a sport band (WeLoop Neo), car recorder, power bank or USB cable for customers who purchased the R15 Pro during the first sale day; and
- Specifically for VIP members, 20% discount will be rewarded for any accessories purchased.
The OPPO R15 Pro is a 6.28-inch smartphone with a notched display, equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 chipset with octa-core and Adreno 512 graphics. Primed with 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, and 3,400mAh battery, the OPPO R15 Pro can take pictures all day with its dual-camera setup at the rear and a 20MP selfie camera.

[UPDATE]: The OPPO R15 Pro is priced at RM2,399!
I have to say, are you out of your minds? RM2,399? Even the Huawei P20 can be found at prices lower than RM2,399 in the market these days. The Honor 10 already slaughtered the R15 Pro in terms of specs and price. Then comes other smartphones in the market – like ASUS ZenFone 5 or even the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro (M1).
