OPPO Malaysia has announced the arrival of the new Reno10 series at the launch event today so let’s see what’s in store.
3 flavors will be launched – Reno10 Pro+ 5G, Reno10 Pro 5G, and Reno10. The first two share almost similar specs while the base Reno10 will serve as the entry line for the Portrait Expert brothers.
The spotlight will be focusing on the Pro+ 5G which comes with the industry’s leading 64MP Telephoto Camera with OIS delivering 71 mm equivalent focal length, resulting in professional quality portrait photos.
One can do 6x optical zoom without losing any details on the subject. Other than that, several modes are provided to the user such as Pro-Portrait Mode, Pro-Portrait
Video, and 4K Ultra Night Video/4K Ultra HDR Video so that everyone can get a taste of industrial-level image outputs.
The main camera is not too shabby either, rocking a Sony IMX890 sensor rated at 50MP while the 112-degree 8MP ultra-wide handles large FOV photos and videos.
As for the non-Plus and base Reno10, the telephoto camera comes down from 64MP to 32MP Sony IMX709 RGBW sensor that can take in 60% extra light and delivers 2x digital zoom.
The processing brains are tiered according to their price point with the Pro+ 5G having the best scaling down to the base model.
As for the signature SuperVOOC Fast Charge, Both ‘Pro’ takes home the best 100W speed while the base has 80W which is still ahead of the competition.
