With the supremely competitive smartphone market nowadays, it’s easy to get caught up by the specs and forget about the price. In an economy like this, the POCO M3 is a boon for a lot of us who just want something that works without the bells and whistles.
To many people, the POCO M3 might not seem all that impressive because it’s an entry-level smartphone – but I assure you, it’s a phone that everyone should know about. This phone actually offers a lot of fantastic features for a really low price.
Let’s start off with the specs. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 662 chipset alongside 4GB RAM and also high-speed storage to ensure great performance. From what we have tested for our review, POCO also pushed out another update during our review period to smoothen out the performance.

To further elevate the gaming experience of the POCO M3, it also has a stereo speaker setup. This is pretty much unheard of when it comes to smartphones in the entry-level range. It enables much better gaming, music-listening, or video-watching experience overall.
In order to make sure that you can play games as long as possible, the POCO M3 also packs a 6,000mAh battery which makes it very difficult to drain the battery to zero. This means that you can play games for hours and hours on end – and it will still be running just fine. As a quick sidenote, the Snapdragon 662 wouldn’t even make the phone go hot – just slightly warmer than usual.
Complimenting all of that, we have a uniquely-designed smartphone too. It has a leather texture for its plastic back, making it really nice to touch. Honestly speaking, I fell in love with the yellow-colored POCO M3 when I first saw it. Damn, the color makes me feel motivated.
On the other side of that cutout is where we’ll find the camera cutouts. It is equipped with a triple camera setup which can actually take some nice-looking pictures with its 48MP main camera. Here are some of the pictures taken with the POCO M3. Some are by me, some are by the fans.

You can get it over at Xiaomi’s official Lazada store right now for the price of RM599. But from the looks of it, it seems like Xiaomi Malaysia is doing yet another round of promotion for the POCO M3 as it is only priced at RM499 this 12.12 sale!
