realme Malaysia just launched the new realme 9i and it is one of the more interesting smartphones of recent months as it is the first smartphone here in Malaysia that is powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 6nm processor. Alongside its price of RM869, the realme 9i is literally redefining the budget gaming smartphone market.
Other than its relatively high performance and low price tag, the realme 9i does have a lot more to offer too.
Let’s start off with the new chip and what makes it a budget gaming smartphone.
This new chipset has massive claims to live up – when compared to its predecessors, it claims 25% increase in CPU performance, 10% increase in GPU performance, and 25% increase in AI performance. It manages to do all of these while also decreasing power consumption by 62% thanks to the new, smaller 6nm fabrication process. This display also has a resolution of 2412×1080 too.
Combined with a 180Hz touch sampling rate, the touchscreen will respond quickly to your inputs without delays – giving you a competitive advantage.
And to ensure your gaming experience lasts for as long as possible, it also comes with a massive 5,000mAh battery that can last you through hours of intense gameplay. If you’re running low on battery, then just plug in that 33W Dart Charge and take a break – then continue gaming as soon as possible.
realme promises that with the 33W Dart Charge, the massive 5,000mAh battery can be charged to 100% within 70 minutes only.
Other than that, the realme 9i also comes with a unique texture at the back of the phone so that it won’t slide off your sweaty fingers during anxious battles in games.
Plus, it also comes in two colors – Prism Black, and Prism Blue.
