realme Malaysia has officially launched its very first laptop, the realme Book together with its availability period.
realme fans will be delighted that the brand is still applying the same idealogy when designing the laptop which is of great quality at an affordable price. The very first correct choice they have made is the selection of Intel’s 11th Gen Intel Core mobile CPU (Either an i3 or i5) that is both powerful and efficient. They also did not skimp on the display as well because the i5 model is using a 14-inch 2K resolution that provides great visual effects alongside modern I/O which is Thunderbolt 4 and WiFi 6 – another practical reason to use the latest Intel offering.
For the memory chips, both the i3 and i5 variant holds 8GB of RAM with storage options that scale up to 512GB PCIe SSD. As for the battery, although it is rated only at 54Whr, the 65W fast charge feature will let u juice up as much as 50% in just 30 minutes in addition to the relatively low levels of power consumption thanks to the 11th Gen Intel Core CPU.
The chassis is also made to be as light as possible and is CNC machined to absolute dimension and finished off with sandblasting and anodizing process that results in a smooth and reflective surface. 2 colors are available which are Blue and Grey.
Availability and Pricing
The realme Book will reach Malaysia shore and launches officially on August 27 exclusively on Shopee with the i3 model (8GB+256GB) priced at RM2,999 and the i5 variant (8GB+512GB) at RM3,499. To reward early birds rightly and thoroughly, a sharp RM500 instant rebate will be given to the Book i3, essentially dropping it down to RM2,499.
Additionally, another Book i5 SKU with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage is revealed at RM3,999 but that will be another story for another day as realme is still finalizing the info for that particular machine.
