Samsung Malaysia is taking its education efforts a step further by introducing AI-Powered Classroom by Samsung in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, a programme designed to prepare students for an increasingly AI-driven future while supporting Malaysia’s broader digital transformation goals.
The initiative began with pilot deployments at SMK Nilai Impian in Negeri Sembilan and SMKA Naim Lil Banat in Kelantan, supported by SNS Network (M) Sdn Bhd. Rather than simply supplying devices, Samsung has created complete AI-powered learning environments that combine technology, infrastructure, and educational content to encourage stronger classroom engagement, collaboration, and digital literacy.
Using the Galaxy Tab A9+ tablets, students are able to interact with teachers who are using smartboards to form cohesive sessions with loads of digital activities. The classrooms also include charging stations, air-conditioning systems, and supporting infrastructure, creating a connected ecosystem designed to support digital learning throughout the school day.
To complement the hardware, the Ministry of Education invited Sasbadi Holdings Berhad to serve as the programme’s Strategic Content Partner. Through its AI-powered Ace-it learning platform, teachers and students gain access to curriculum-aligned notes, exercises, interactive tools, and an AI assistant that helps streamline lesson preparation while making classroom activities more engaging. The platform works across the Galaxy Tab A9+ tablets and smartboards, allowing lessons to move seamlessly between devices.
Results are instantaneous, as teachers reported that things like science concepts are now easier to teach since many aspects can be visualized, while students echo that idea from the learning perspective, while listing indirect benefits such as “fewer textbooks to carry around” as some of the things they noticed straight away.
By combining classroom infrastructure, connected devices, and AI-powered learning tools, Samsung’s latest education initiative reflects a shift from simply providing technology to building complete digital learning ecosystems.
