Samsung just announced that the Galaxy S IV Mini is confirmed!
JK Shin CEO and President of IT & Mobile Communication Division at Samsung Electronics said that:
We appreciate such unprecedented demands for the Galaxy S4 that we aimed to provide users with life companion for a fuller, richer and simpler life. And now, we want to give people more choices with Galaxy S4 IVMini, similar look and feel of Galaxy S4 for more compact and practical usages. The new Galaxy S4 Mini provides consumers with a new way to enjoy the flagship Galaxy S IV experience.
The specs of the Galaxy S IV Mini are as below :
- 1.7GHz dual-core processor
- Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean
- 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display
- GPS + GLONASS
- 8GB of internal memory, expandable up to 64GB
- 1.5GB RAM
- 8MP rear-facing camera, 1.9MP front-facing camera
- 1800mAh battery
- 107 grams
Samsung Galaxy S IV Mini almost almost the same feature as large Galaxy S IV. For instance, the 8 megapixel rear-facing camera and 1.9 megapixel HD front-facing camera also have similar camera features and automatic “story album building”, as well as the S Translator which is use for instant translation using text or voice on applications including email and text message. It also has the S IV’s remote control capability for TVs and the S Health features that include calorie counting and sleep monitoring.
Release date and price are yet to be announced, but with the launching of the Galaxy S IV Mini that has almost same feature with Galaxy S IV, would you still will go and get a Galaxy S IV or the mini version of it?
