We know that some of you have certain workarounds to get the Samsung Galaxy Buds series of TWS to work on a Windows 10 machine, but it seems that Samsung has made all those efforts seemingly down the drain with the new ‘Galaxy Buds’ Windows 10 app.
WindowsCentral, one of the earliest sites to report, found the little thing popped up in the Microsoft Store around last week. As a straightforward app as it should be, it simplifies the process of connecting your Galaxy Buds device to any Windows 10 PC or laptop with Bluetooth with a user interface bearing the resemblance to the Android version, suspecting it is a direct port of the original. You’ll get to use all the features that you can find in your Galaxy smartphone too.
As of the time of writing, only the Galaxy Buds Pro is compatible with the Windows app however Samsung promises to bring forward the Galaxy Buds Live and Galaxy Buds+ to the mix in the “future”. Not sure how long will it takes though. But, we’ll be releasing one user experience and guide to talk about it alongside our opinions about the app. If you want to try it out now, you can head over to Microsoft Store and start downloading it.
