It’s been more than 2 months since migrating to the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. I’ve been using this phone as my daily driver ever since the day I got it, and had a lot of fun using this phone. One of the main highlights is going to be the cameras, of course. You see, the Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with a total of 5 different circles at the back – all of them serve a different purpose.

We have the main 108MP that takes the most amazing pictures and video that we can ever imagine – and we also have the ultrawide and double telephoto cameras to provide us with even more flexibility while framing pictures or videos. It’s always good to have options.

I have taken a lot of random pictures with the Galaxy S22 Ultra and uploaded a bunch of them to my personal Instagram account. I’m not a professional photographer and if any of the pictures look nice to you, it’s probably by accident thanks to my trigger-happy point-and-shoot hands.

Anyway, here’s my personal profile if you want to give me a follow – I’ll be happy.

However, here are a few pictures taken with the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra that I really want to show off. I gave them some effort to either prove a point or try to at least make them look beautiful.

Let’s start off with some random shots with the main camera. The camera can produce amazing shots in both daylight and nighttime, including indoors and outdoors too. Keep in mind that I’m someone who’s lazy to fine-tune the settings every time so I just shoot.

Yes, it’s a worm. On my wall. In my room.

Then comes the ultrawide angle camera. This is an angle that I usually wouldn’t use because of its inherent fisheye warp. Samsung fixes this warping by default, but everything is stretched – especially the corners.

But, they still take good pics.

Out of all the cameras available on the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, I use the telephoto cameras the most. There’s a 3x and 10x optical zoom camera on the phone so might as well take advantage of them.

I usually use telephoto cameras even if the subject is near to me – mostly to avoid shadows cast by my hands and fingers. Plus, I don’t want to startle my “wildlife” subjects.

We can also zoom up to 100x digitally too – and the pictures coming out of it is amazing. Let me show you a comparison here from 1x, then 3x, then 10x, and 100x.

Of course, that’s not the only use for this superb camera. We can also use it to take pictures of the moon. Granted, 100x zoom is a bit too much so I eventually stepped back to either 30x or 50x – I can’t remember. Combined with the moonlight glow on a cloudy night, the picture looks surrealistic.

I can’t remember if this is at 30x or 50x – but it looks really good.

And I am definitely still taking more pics today – right now, as we speak. I just find the cameras to be very user-friendly yet able to adapt to advanced users at the same time. If you want to use Expert RAW, then go ahead. If you want to use the Pro Photo mode, then go ahead. All of those options are available for you.
