The Samsung Galaxy S8 made headlines over the course of weeks prior to its release with leaks after leaks. Just last week, Samsung made the official announcement on the Galaxy S8 and S8+. Now, Samsung Malaysia is making headlines with the pre-order details and of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+.
Let’s start with the most obvious point first – the pre-order starts 10am on 11th April 2017. If you pre-ordered a Galaxy S8 or S8+, you’ll be getting a limited edition starter kit – which includes a clear cover, a screen protector, a wireless charger stand, a USB-C cable, and also a 5,100mAh power bank.
Other than that, all pre-orders of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ will get Samsung Protection Plus – a sort of extended warranty that covers mechanical and electrical breakdowns, as well as accidents. This extended warranty will provide a 1-year screen crack protection (remember, the S8/S8+ is mostly screen) and allows a one-time replacement in a 12-month period for accidental damage claim, and an additional 1-year extended warranty.
That’s a lot of extensions!
The entire bundle package is worth over RM900, and remember – you’ll be getting it for free if you pre-order the Galaxy S8 or S8+, which is priced at RM3,299 and RM3,699 respectively.
But how exactly do you pre-order the Galaxy S8 or S8+, you may ask. Here are the steps.
- Visit www.samsung.com/my/s8preorder from 10am 11th April until 11:59pm 13 th April 2017.
- Place a deposit of RM300 online via debit or credit card.
- Select from the three color options – Midnight Black, Orchid Gray or Maple Gold.
- Choose your preferred Samsung Experience Store to collect your brand new Galaxy S8 or S8+.
- An email confirmation will be sent to the registered email address.
- Collect your Galaxy S8 or S8+ on 4th May 2017, a day before everyone else gets their hands on this remarkable device at the official Malaysian launch!
