Samsung’s introduction of the brand new Jet Bot AI+ is taking its smart cleaning robot to yet another level of smartness for the company.
Fitted with a 30W suction system, the Jet Cyclone structure allows it to suck up dust and particles easily through the grille filter + cyclone double-layer combo while quality brush and extractor get rid of sticky or fine strains such as fibers with ease. While the “self-returning to the power station after cleaning” feature has been around sometimes, the AI smartness comes from the 3D and LiDAR sensor allowing the device to move around and detect obstacles precisely and easily which is then used to calculate how much distance and the next direction needed to avoid them.
Speaking of smart machines, it is also part of the Samsung SmartThings ecosystem which means you can program it to perform cleaning regularly, on a schedule, set no-go zones, and more. The onboard camera unit powered by the JetLive streaming service lets u take over the little robot’s POV for a little bit of fun too.
