Samsung Malaysia has announced that it will start the roll of the One UI 7 update in Malaysia on April 14, with loads of new designs focused on personalization and control built around AI-powered interactions.
The update package should pop up in the Galaxy S24 series as well as the Galaxy Z Fold6/Flip6 duo before expanding to more Galaxy smartphones and tablets. Through the new update, the Now Bar is capable of delivering real-time updates right from the lock screen such as workout tracking, music player info, and whatnot.
The innate Galaxy AI is now smarter than ever and can understand user intention based on frequent action such as knowing to “save a video as GIF” when utilizing AI Select during video playback.
There’s also the improved Writing Assist, Drawing Assist, and Audio Eraser enabling better productivity as well as a broader range of Google Gemini integration activated through a long press of the side button.
Other than that, the Settings page can understand natural language with responses that tie directly to the prompt, such as turning on the Eye Comfort Shield with a “My eyes are tired” command.
