Samsung Malaysia has launched the new Smart Monitor M8 and M7 for the local market, particularly for those with a bit of extra money and doesn’t really want a PC/Mac in general.
Contrary to your standard desktop setups that require some sort of host device, the Smart Monitor duo is a complete package on its own as they have built-in office tools to help you do your documenting and presentation just like a normal PC.
Hosting a magnetic and removable camera on the M8, it supports FHD video footage and supports Auto Framing for effective meetings while Multi-View now enables Microsoft 365 and Browser in full-screen mode too.
One may also control and monitor all the associated IoT products that run on Zigbee and Thread on the premise. Packed with a built-in mic, use it to call Bixby or Amazon Alexa out to do some pesky tasks for you.
Lastly, it is also great at functioning as a visual device as the resolution is at a nice 4K and supports HDR for better immersion in movies. Oh, it can be pivoted up to 90 degrees as well, perfect for the vertical monitor gang.
Early Bird Price
To celebrate the launch, the Samsung Smart Monitor M8 and M7 will be specially priced at RM2,888 and RM2,238 respectively from now until July 9.
