Samsung Working On Mega Phones

Bigger is better right? Seems so for Samsung. According to an inside tipster from SamMobile, Samsung is preparing 2 Galaxy phones that will bear the “Mega” moniker – Galaxy Mega 5.8 (GT-I9152) and Galaxy Mega 6.3 (GT-I9200).

Looking at the model number we can conclude the followings:

• S Pen can be ruled out, since Note devices fall into the GT-Nxxxx family.
• Both are probably related to the 2011 devices (Galaxy S II – I9100, Galaxy S II LTE – I9210, Galaxy Nexus – I9250)
• Mega 5.8 will be able to house 2 SIM cards
• 6.3″ sounds familiar? That’s the rumoured size of Note III

Details should be clearer in late Q2 of the year. Mega 5.8 and Mega 6.3 should launch in late May and mid June respectively.
