Sony Malaysia has announced that are bringing in some hardcore, professional-grade memory cards tailored to those who work in extreme environments or just want the very best that money can buy.
Labeled the CEA-M1920T and CEA-M960T, the models show off their big capacity energy with 1920GB and 960GB respectively where absolute conform to CFexpress 2.0 and VPG200 rating is guaranteed.
As such, they can do fast and stable video recording at 200MB/s while being resistant to bending and drop impact in addition to dust and moisture guarding. With this, even the most dangerous jobs requiring a DV cam will not have their recording destroyed by physical damage.
Simply speaking, things like XAVC S-I 4K footage, high bitrates, and 120FPS recording, all of these are just child play for these TOUGH-labeled memory cards.
Price and Availability
The Sony CEA-M1920T and CEA-M960T will be made available somewhere in August for Malaysia.
Quoting official numbers on the product page, it’ll take you a big chunk of RM8,999 for the 1920GB and RM4,799 for the 960GB instead.
