Sony Malaysia has expanded its smartphone offering through the introduction of the new Xperia 1 V and Xperia 10 V which covers both the premium and affordable section.
Let’s start with the king first- the Xperia 1 V. The photography and imaging giant’s new flagship “Exmor T for mobile” is a combination of a 24mm lens and a 2-layer Transistor Pixel stacked CMOS image sensor 1.7x larger than the previous model on top of an 85-125mm optical zoom lens that delivers professional-grade results.
The S-Cinetone feature has been streamlined for mobile usage such that cinematic images no longer require manual color grading here. One can also utilize presets like Creative Look, and real-time AF/ Eye AF/ tracking for different outcomes.
The device can have the ability to shoot at 30FPS with AF/AE tracking and record crystal clear voices through the voice priority mic. Vertical shooting and live streaming with viewer interaction are all the icing on the cake functions one can use to their advantage.
And of course, who can forget the top-notch 6.5-inch 4K 120Hz OLED display + high-grade audio system for immersive moments in games and movies – an aspect that Sony flagships continue to deliver across the years.
Let’s move over to the mid-range Xperia 10 V. This one is a lightweight champ since it focuses on delivering everything at a decent level. The 6.1-inch OLED panel with TRILUMINOS Display technology makes everything pop while the inclusion of a 3.5mm jack will make a lot of people happy and yeah, it has DSEE Ultimate and LDAC codec support too.
The slim frame and uniform bezel also make it stand out from the rest of the competition in terms of design.
