So Taobao has announced they are amping up the experience of shopping on its platform towards Malaysians through the introduction of a Bahasa Malaysia interface.
Slated for release sometime during June, this is definitely going to make things easier for local users, especially with how popular cross-border shopping is getting in Malaysia. Combining the fact that we get to shop low-cost items at great value together with a whole lotta payment options that are locally available, this might just be the best news.
As a result, this basically made the app cover the top 3 languages of Malaysia to enable a smooth, no-fuss shopping experience, as last year’s English interface also benefited a lot of local people.
Ah yes, they are also adding English support for customer service, prices in Ringgit, and aforementioned checkout choices of debit + credit + e-wallets + installments, and a much simpler layout.
If you haven’t tried it yet, the Taobao app is free on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
