Transcend just showed off and introduced their brand new Transcend 330S micro SDXC card with super high speeds. It is compliant with the latest A2 speed class excellent random read/write speeds for fast transfer, app performance, and 4K Ultra HD video recording.
We recently reviewed the Transcend 300S microSD card here, and we have to say that the speed is certainly something that we all can make use of. Of course, the new Transcend 330S meets the new A2 standard – and it is the second iteration of the Application Performance Class for Android phones.
The Transcned 330S microSD card meets the A2 standard by delivering a minimum random read of 4,000 IOPS and random write of 2,000 IOPS, and sustained sequential speeds of at least 10MB/s.
As for 4K video, the Transcend 330S meets both the UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) and the V30 class. For games and videos that require high sequential read/write speed, the Transcend 330S microSD card can fulfill this as it can have a theoretical maximum read/write speed at 100MB/s and 85MB/s respectively. It is ideal for 4K video recording and playback, while the high random IOPS is great for apps and loading a gallery with thousands of pictures.
To deliver the best performance and stability, Transcend’s microSD memory cards are tested to withstand extreme conditions. These cards can perform at temperature extremes of -25° to 85°C as well as being waterproof, shock and vibration proof, and X-ray proof.
Transcend’s SD cards is also compatible with their exclusive recovery software, the RecoveRx. It is a free data recovery utility that features a user-friendly interface that allows users to search deep within a storage device for traces of erased photos, documents, music and videos that can be rescued. Moreover, RecoveRx can also write-protect memory cards to prevent accidental data loss.
The microSDXC 330S is available in 64GB and 128GB capacities, and are covered by Transcend’s five-year Limited Warranty.
