U Mobile has expanded its business portfolio through the official launch of its new Enterprise Innovation Platform (EIP) Hub, a collaborative space where businesses can turn ideas into practical 5G-Advanced (5G-A) and AI-powered solutions before deploying them at scale.
Officially launched by Communications Minister YB Dato’ Seri Fahmi Fadzil, the EIP Hub is built on U Mobile’s latest 5G-A infrastructure and is designed to help enterprises reduce the risks of adopting new technologies. Instead of jumping straight into deployment, companies can develop, test, validate, and demonstrate new solutions in a real-world environment before rolling them out across their operations.
The hub is also meant to bring together businesses, technology companies, universities, advisors, and government agencies under one roof, creating a space where collaboration can speed up innovation and deliver measurable business outcomes.
The EIP platform hosts its own advisory panel and has already grown to include 15 ecosystem partners covering connectivity, AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity, enterprise technologies, and academia.
At the event, they also demo’ed in-house solutions powered by 5G-A and AI. These included Visual Intelligence for real-time operational monitoring, Digital Twin technology for predictive asset management, autonomous drone inspections over 5G networks, and AI-powered humanoid robots designed to automate business operations and improve productivity.
Partners are getting their spotlight as well, with CMC AgriNXT’s AI-powered agriculture platform for smarter plantation management, Qualcomm’s intelligent retail solution that analyzes customer behavior and store performance, and Huawei’s Smart Ward solution that combines 5G, IoT, and Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) to enable real-time patient monitoring and smarter hospital operations, all taking their rounds to showcase what they have.
Alongside the launch, U Mobile also hosted a two-day Executive Innovation Forum featuring industry leaders, technology partners, and enterprise customers. The sessions covered practical 5G-A and AI deployments while giving attendees a closer look at the demonstrations inside the EIP Hub.
Moving forward, U Mobile plans to expand the platform through additional partnerships, proof-of-concept projects, pilot programs, and solution validation initiatives. Powered by its ULTRA5G network and In-Building Coverage (IBC), the EIP Hub aims to support enterprises across multiple industries as they accelerate digital transformation.
