If you’re interested in what U Mobile has in stores for all the other telcos, then look no further. They uploaded 3 new U Mobile roasts videos not too long ago. All of these videos however, are some really fantastic roasts on all the other telcos.
It just seem like U Mobile says we don’t care anymore, and made these 3 videos.
They roasted all 3 major telcos – Maxis, Celcom, and Digi. The biggest roast of all in my opinion is towards Maxis, reminding us again of all the misdeeds they did this year alone.
Anyway, enough talking – let’s take a look at each of the roasts that U Mobile has uploaded.
Firstly, the roast on Digi.
Secondly, their roast on Celcom. Being a customer of Celcom, I find a lot of truth in what they’re getting roasted for. I mean seriously, who uses Yonder music? Give us Spotify instead!
And thirdly – which I think is the best roast – is for Maxis. I think their roast on Maxis is pretty fair, given the amount of troubles they’ve caused for all their customers this year. Retention plans leaked, and then recently there’s an auto-subscription for iFlix that robbed RM10 from many Maxis customers.
I personally don’t see these roasts as something bad, and I actually wish these telcos would have a comeback some time soon. I’m eager to see what comeback Maxis will bring up though. If Celcom too, scraps Yonder Music entirely and jump on the Spotify bandwagon, I’ll definitely thank them for the U Mobile roasts video series!!!
[UPDATE 14th December 2016]: U Mobile has removed the video without any notice or warning.
U Mobile has deleted the video and it has since been unavailable to be viewed. It might be a move by U Mobile to avoid legal issues. I’m quite sad to see it go actually, as I was expecting some diss track by other telcos.
