Redmi is known as the brand that brings good, budget-oriented products – including TWS earbuds. One of the most famous reviews we did was the Redmi AirDots from 2019. Fast forward to today, Redmi just announced the Redmi Buds 3 Pro – a rather premium TWS earbuds with a lot of features packed in.
It’s best to watch the video to know what’s going on.
For all that I can summarize here, the Redmi Buds 3 Pro is actually a pretty good pair of TWS earbuds. It offers these features, but not limited to:
- Double device connectivity
- “Transparency mode”
- Pretty decent sound overall
- Relatively tiny earbuds case
However, the earbuds themselves are relatively weird in terms of design. The part that is facing inside the ear is circular. It’s not really an issue for me, but those with a tinier ear might feel uncomfortable.
Also, there is a mesh on the earbuds to prevent earwax from going on the speaker’s diaphragm. However, the eartips themselves do not have any sort of mesh – so the eventual necessary cleaning will be quite annoying.
Nonetheless, the Redmi Buds 3 Pro is a pretty good pair of TWS earbuds overall. For the price of RM239, it’s not exactly affordable or expensive.
By the way, Xiaomi Malaysia just released the non-Pro version of the Redmi Buds 3. It’s significantly lower in price, too. Click here to learn more.
