Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO has announced that it has officially become the top global partner of BMW M Motorsport and to celebrate this partnership, the company will release a BMW-themed iQOO 5 smartphone on August 17.
This is yet another automobile and smartphone industry collaboration, which is similar to OnePlus x McLaren that ended not that long ago. The 2 companies are looking forward to showing their effort of design and aesthetics at the forefront of the creative industry for the noble gentlemen instead of siding with the growing force of gaming smartphones.
The iQOO series houses a built-in 4000mAh battery with standard version support for 55W flash charging that brings higher durability with the iQOO 5 series as the first smartphone from the company to support 120W fast charging, which claims to fill a 4,000 mAh battery from flat to 100% in just 15 minutes.
The display is an AMOLED flexible screen with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, 120Hz refresh rate, and a sampling rate of 240Hz. In terms of sound quality, the 120dB high-dynamic HiFi chip has been used with superlinear stereo dual speakers. Performance-wise, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset paired with LPDDR5 RAM will drive any tasks and games smoothly, and kept cool with a vapor chamber.
