vivo Malaysia will be releasing the new Y12A tomorrow which is yet another budget smartphone.
To be fair, the device isn’t super entry-level to the point that everything just barely functions but at least it has a big battery to power the low-power hardware inside it so you’ll get a pretty long uptime per full charge so it’s okay for messaging and contacting people or as a backup device.
- 6.51-inch IPS HD Display
- 720p Resolution
- Waterdrop Notch
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 Chipset
- 3GB RAM
- 32GB Storage
- Dual Rear Camera
- Main: 13MP f/2.4 with AF
- Depth Sensor
- 8MP Selfie Camera
- 5,000mAh Battery

Pricing
At RM529 and considering the big battery, the vivo Y12A is not too shabby at this price point. As it prepares itself for the launch tomorrow, it will be available on Shopee and Lazada.
