vivo Malaysia has officially launched the new Y29 and Y39 smartphones for the local market.
Positioned as value buys for the budget-conscious group, the Y29 and Y39 hugely differ on the SoC within them, with the Y39 running a 5G-supported chip while the Y29 stays in the 4G LTE zone.
Other than that, you’ll see the back camera bump is kind of different as well – a long rectangle for the Y29 and a circular bump for the Y39.
The rest of the things are similar, up from the memory and storage capacity and down to camera lenses and charging speeds.
They are also said to be made from durable materials that can sustain drops as well as running 400% Dual Stereo Speaker for easy open space entertainment (moms and dads be delighted by this feature, surely).

The vivo Y29 is priced at RM799 while the vivo Y399 is at RM999 respectively, available for purchase starting today across various online platforms and authorized retailers.
