vivo Malaysia has officially launched the Y31s 5G into the local market today.
Considering there’s a lot of good phones being placed in the mid-range category nowadays, the Y31s 5G can only belong in the mid-low range because the SoC is a pretty low-powered chip – Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 at that.
The memory capacity is acceptable, while the dual back cameras are usable. Won’t depend much on this, but if your requirement isn’t that strong to begin with, and you like vivo much, then the Y31s 5G could be the choice.
Designed to withstand everyday usage, it is made to be heat, shock, and drop resistant to start, while the IP68 + IP69 waterproof certification makes it suitable for jobs that come into contact with water regularly, such as delivery jobs.
Well, they do make sure to give it a pretty back side, though, as the hero color option is the KL Midnight Purple, inspired by, you guessed it, the night skies of Kuala Lumpur, and the other being the standard glossy Glowing Black.
Speaking of the backside, factoring in the low-powered chip, the 6,500mAh BlueVolt battery allows one to get all-day usage with fast juicing speed – Just top it off while you take a break or have a meal, then it is back to full again.
