Yesterday night, Xiaomi Malaysia has fully launched the Xiaomi 11 family of smartphones and the new Pad 5 tablet. Yes, the very first set of products that have ditched the “Mi” naming scheme.
A total of 3 new devices debuted for the new family which are the 11T, 11T Pro, and Lite 11 5G NE made to target different sets of users. As such, the 11T is just good for everything with decent performance and a high refresh rate display without breaking the bank while the 11T Pro is geared towards the gamers through a more powerful chipset and higher memory capacity with the Lite 11 5G NE wrapping the lower budget spectrum for absolute bang-for-buck ratio.
On the other hand, the Xiaomi Pad 5 is positioned as a high tier tablet that is capable of anything thanks to the high refresh rate and large screen estate, a decently powerful SoC, and large battery life to complement the expected usage of consuming visual content such as movies and videos, partially thanks to the 1Billion colors for vividness and Dolby Vision support.
