Xiaomi Malaysia is pairing up with our astrology department Planetarium Negara to host a new photography contest: Starry Night.
The faintly lit sky during the night is one of the most beautiful natural scenes around the world and Xiaomi’s introduction to the powerful camera capabilities of the Mi 11 series smartphone is part of the reason why this collaboration happened. No longer do we need a professional camera in order to capture these captive sceneries.
For the contest, first, take an original photo using your Xiaomi smartphone (Any model is acceptable) that best reflects the theme of the contest then head over to the contest post on Xiaomi Malaysia’s Facebook page and submit your photo there with the hashtags #XiaomiMalaysia #PlanetariumNegara #StarryNightwithMi while tagging 3 friends of yours. Oh, be sure to give Xiaomi Malaysia and Planetarium Negara‘s Facebook a Like as well to make sure your entry gets accepted properly.
The contest ends on May 17 and lucky winners will either get a new Mi 11 smartphone or an exclusive trip to Pulau Mawar, Mersing for a full-on Milky Way experience. As a side note, be sure to turn on the Device Caption feature to watermark your photos to prove that it is shot using a Xiaomi smartphone.
