YES has recently closed up a deal with Universiti Malaya that adds the institution to the list of supported educational organizations for the refreshed Learn From Home initiative.
As such, students including existing and newly enrolled individuals of partnered universities are able to receive a free 7GB data per month for up to 12 months until the end of September 2022 – courtesy of YES. Originally launched to help the B40 families during the MCO period to cope with the financial burdens of adopting digital education. As the initiative has grown over the last couple of years, it has been made to cover the entire education range all the way from elementary until tertiary studies. According to internal statistics, YEs has already provided 450k free SIM cards, 100k free smartphones, and more than 18000 TB of data to all users under this welfare program.
If you haven’t applied for this and are eligible, please getit through this link or by scanning the QR code because academic research can be quite heavy from all the article reading and materials gathering.
