OPPO F1s – phone for “selfie experts”

There was a time when people started taking selfies, and eventually got to make a career out of it. Selfies mean serious business, literally. There are more and more devices made specifically for selfies too, like the HTC Desire Eye and also the ASUS ZenFone Selfie. OPPO had their rotating camera design in the past, but they’re not stopping there obviously. This is the brand new OPPO F1s, a smartphone for “selfie experts”.

The term “selfie expert” is not to be taken lightly, as the OPPO F1s sports a crazy 16MP sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 for the selfie camera alone. You might be wondering – how about the rear-facing camera? It’s a 13MP at f/2.2 camera actually. I think it begs the question – do I take landscape pics with my selfie camera then? Wouldn’t it be better?

Anyway, the OPPO F1s sports a 3,075mAh battery with 32GB storage and 3-slot tray. That means it supports dual-SIM and microSD card all at the same time, with absolutely no sacrificial SIM card slot.

The OPPO F1s comes in two colours – gold, and rose gold (pink), and will be available for pre-order from 10th till 19th August 2016. It’ll then be available nationwide at all OPPO stores starting 20th August 2016. Ah, I’ve not forgotten about the price. It’s priced at only RM1,198. It’s waaaaaay lower than that I expected it to be!

You can actually pre-order them now on Lazada. Check out the deals right here!
