I say that the teaser that Samsung sent to us, is cleverly put together, and it clearly tells us what new Samsung “A” smartphone that is teased.
By the looks of it, the only alphabet that stood out the most is “A”. Of course, the highlighted alphabet “A” also corresponds to their current lineup of smartphones. You know which one I’m referring to. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
As for the water droplets on the lower right-hand corner though – what does that mean? Can this be that the new “A” smartphone is going to be water-resistant – or better yet, waterproof?
This yet again leads to more questions. What are the specs? When will it be officially announced? We’re still left in the dark by the lack of further information – but we’ll be sure to update you when we do know more.
Stay tuned for more – as we’ll definitely follow the entire journey of this “A” smartphone!
[UPDATE 29th December 2016]: New image!
Samsung’s latest teaser tells us a little bit more details, but it gave me a lot more question that answers.
From what I can see through this teaser, it seems there’s a lot more to the word “wave” than meets the eye. Firstly, I can confidently say that the new “wave” here with the water splash in the corner means the new Galaxy A smartphone will be waterproof.
However, digging deeper into the word “wave” here, it might mean a whole new family of Galaxy A series devices. Anyone remember the Galaxy A3, A5, A7, and A9 Pro 2016 family of devices?
Samsung might launch more than one Galaxy A device, but of course, they are still speculations as of now.
More details to be uncovered soon – and until then, stay tuned!
[UPDATE 31st December 2016]: Prices and pre-order dates announced!
While the specs are still unconfirmed, Samsung has announced the official prices for both the two new Samsung Galaxy A (2017) smartphones – the A5 (2017), and the A7 (2017).
