Today is the day – the brand new Samsung Galaxy A (2017)’s official unveiling! Pre-orders for Samsung Galaxy A (2017) starts on 6th January 2017 for both the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) and the Galaxy A7 (2017).
As for the specs, we can only describe it with one word – impressive. Both the Galaxy A5 and A7 sports the same cameras – 16MP rear-facing camera and another 16MP for its front-facing camera.
For its raw performance, Both Galaxy A5 and A7 are powered by Samsung’s Exynos 7880 chipset, 1.9GHz octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Of course, there’s a microSD card slot for up to an additional of 256GB storage.
Both the A5 and A7 have now embraced USB-C too. Both these smartphones are IP68-certified too! They’re both available in 4 different colours too – Black Sky, Blue Mist, Gold Sand, and Peach Cloud!
Now, let’s talk about their differences. The Galaxy A5 sports a 5.2-inch screen, whereas the Galaxy A7 sports a bigger 5.7-inch screen – and both of them are Super AMOLED displays with 1920×1080 in resolution. The batteries have been upgraded, as the Galaxy A5 is now equipped with a 3,000mAh battery, and the A7 now has a massive 3,600mAh battery.
After seeing and holding both the Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017) with my own hands, I can tell you that the design is close to the Note 5’s geometry. The colours are clearly stunning!
Both of these devices support Samsung Pay too, and whipping out this beautiful smartphone to pay will clearly turn heads towards your direction. Let’s not forget about the easiness of Samsung Pay too.
Remember, pre-orders start from 6th January at 10am until 15th January 2017 at selected participating outlets. To celebrate the Samsung Galaxy A (2017)’s grand launch, every unit purchased during this pre-order sale will receive a unit of the Samsung Level U Pro – a pair of wireless headphone worth RM 399.
